It's more like having the physical disc for GTA V on 360/PS3, and expecting that same disc to let you play GTA V on the One/PS4. The base game and DE have no cross compatibility and nothing to do with each other.

Even on PC, without console generations or anything of that stuff, it's an entirely new game. It's literally a DIFFERENT game, on Xbox and PC. The one game listing works for whatever console you download it on.

There isn't 2 different product listings, and saves are compatible. On Series X, it's the same game, you just get an update, or automatically download the right one. Like, you bought the base game and then picked the DLC up later on it's own, as opposed to the adventurer bundle which would work? Not sure why they wouldn't just say that if it was the case, though. The only thing I can maybe figure is 'retail' is just the base game. I bought mine from the Xbox store on my console, the same as all my other games. Their words, and they don't distinguish about certain digital copies being retail and other not. This only applies to digital copies of the game on both PC and Consoles.' Besides, it's not working for me and I DO have digital, so I dunno what exactly it is that makes mine 'retail' and other not. I knew that, so I'm confused about what 'retail' means in this context. It was always only going to be available for digital copies, since it's technically a different game, and the upgrade gives you a free digital copy. Oh also to clarify your working on fixing physical copy upgrade or just digital issues?

Seems a little money grappy imo, to not make it a update and instead a new thing that cost money. If your gonna say space, that also doesn't work as a argument considering both Soroboreans and 3 brothers are automatically installed on outward and buying them simply unlocks them. In other words you would lose nothing with dlc items in non dlc locations in terms of sales (the only thing that would get missed, is maybe enchanting armor without Soroboreans dlc but thats about it) People who are gonna buy the dlcs aren't buying them for the items, there buying it for the missions, new map locations and trainers.

Just cuz now you can get dlc items in non dlc areas doesn't matter. Also if this takes more than a month I'm going to be disappointed beyond belief.Īlso i could be crazy but I can't understand why this isn't able to just be a update in normal outward. Should send a notification to all outward owners when it gets fixed.
